The Year I Decided to Show Up

Image
From Standing Still to Stepping Forward — My New Beginning in 2026 It’s been a while since I last shared an update on my journey. As I stepped into 2026 , I found myself at a crossroads. My final year was coming to an end, and unlike many around me, I didn’t have a job offer in hand. Looking back, I won’t deny it—I had slacked off at times, like any regular person does. Comfort, procrastination, and self-doubt quietly took over. But the new year brought clarity. I made a conscious decision: I will not repeat the same version of myself again. I chose to stop being “normal,” stop being comfortable with lacking progress, and start becoming better—one step at a time. Fortunately, I already had a C2C internship offer , which I had mentioned earlier in my blog series. That opportunity became the reason I moved to Bangalore , marking my first step into an independent life. With the help of my college mate—who was also part of the same C2C internship—I settled into a PG near TAP Aca...

From Midnight Gaming to Morning Responsibilities

Image
The Thursday Morning Rush Let’s go back to yesterday. I woke up at 6:00 AM and immediately ran to the post office to sort out my sister’s Aadhaar change. I waited nearly half an hour just to snag a token! After that small victory, I returned home to drop my father at work. I had other plans for the morning, but I had to put them on hold when my grandma called needing her medicines from the hospital. Family duties called, so I went and got them for her. Biriyani & The Recharge By the time I finished running errands, the day felt like a blur, and a serious craving hit me: Biriyani. I ran to the shop and treated myself and my family to a feast. It was delightful, but you know how it goes—a heavy lunch makes for heavy eyes. The game I had planned to play was calling my name, but I was too full. I ended up taking a nap instead. The Midnight Gaming Session I finally woke up at 5:00 PM and opened my tempting gaming laptop. It started as a "quick session," but the story got so i...

One Week In: A Day of Reflection and Forward Momentum It’s officially been a week since I launched my blog and started connecting more deeply with the online world—and what a fulfilling experience it’s been! Bank Sloths, RDR2, and the Java Pivot

Day 7: Slow Banks, RDR2, and the Automation Rabbit Hole Today, the seventh day of my blogging journey, got off to an interesting start. I was awakened well before my alarm at 6:30 AM, shaken by a particularly bad dream. Still processing the lingering anxiety, my father sent me out right away to buy milk for our morning tea. I returned home quickly, my mind still preoccupied.

Day Six: A Monday of Balance and Hustle Today marked the sixth day of my study holiday—a Monday that flew by. While I was eager to dive into my study plans, the responsibilities of being the first child in the house called, leading to a wonderfully busy and balanced day.

Sunday Slowdown: Shoes, Chicken Curry, and a Date with Red Dead 2

Sunday Slowdown: Shoes, Chicken Curry, and Red Dead Redemption 2  Hello everyone! It’s the fifth day , and today being Sunday, I definitely took advantage of the holiday and slept in—it was glorious! After finally waking up, the first task on my mind was something I had been putting off: washing my shoes. I gathered them up, then took a quick trip with my father to drop him off at work. Once back home, I settled down for breakfast before tackling the main chore. It took me about an hour of scrubbing to get everything clean and hung up to dry.

College Memories, Career Dreams: Closing One Chapter, Opening Another

Day 4: Semester's End, New Beginnings, and a Race to the Bus! Today marks the fourth day of this blog, and what an eventful—if slightly slow-starting—day it was. It all kicked off with a classic student blunder: I woke up late! It was a genuine race against time, and I nearly missed the bus on what turned out to be the final day of lectures for the semester.
