College Memories, Career Dreams: Closing One Chapter, Opening Another
Day 4: Semester's End, New Beginnings, and a Race to the Bus!
Today marks the fourth day of this blog, and what an eventful—if slightly slow-starting—day it was. It all kicked off with a classic student blunder: I woke up late! It was a genuine race against time, and I nearly missed the bus on what turned out to be the final day of lectures for the semester.
The Last Day Jitters (and Boredom)
The morning was a mixed bag. While the lectures themselves were, frankly, quite boring (you know that end-of-semester feeling), I couldn't shake a wave of nostalgia. I already miss the time spent in college—the camaraderie, the laughs, and all the fun moments that are now cemented as great memories.
The first half of the day seemed to just drift by in an empty classroom setting. But the afternoon was definitely the highlight! I spent quality time with a friend, playing a game and diving deep into a chit-chat about our future plans. It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re talking about dreams and potential. As I left campus, I felt a strong sense of happiness and a newfound sense of responsibility settling onto my shoulders.
A Peaceful Commute and Family Time
The ride home on the college bus was serene. I plugged in my headphones, enjoyed the music, and soaked in the cool breeze. It was a perfect transition moment.
Back home, I had a brief, warm moment with my father, who was chatting with his aunt. I grabbed some food, and as I ate, my mind wandered back to my favorite college memories one last time before closing that chapter.
Shifting Focus: The Career Pivot
Soon, the lure of entertainment began to pull me in, but I managed to stop myself. I set a strict time limit and quickly redirected my focus to the most crucial thing right now: my career path and professional development.
I dove straight into a WordPress tutorial. I now have a basic but solid understanding of the concepts of hosting and domain processing in the real world—a great first step!
That session led right into my Java basics video, which was sweetly interrupted by my mom needing help with some housework and a shopping trip. After getting my belly happily filled, I returned to my studies to recollect my learning basics and solidify my motive to continue this deep dive tomorrow.
I’m finishing today's starting point a little slower than planned, but the focus is sharpening, and the work is finally underway. The path ahead is exciting but challenging.
Wish me luck!
Have a great time, folks!👋
